A single-family house of 600 m2 in Sierra de Madrid.

Housing arises from the plot, with a strong horizontal character of overlapping volumes. It’s a plot with a slope, so housing is integrated into the sloping level, respecting existing vegetation, and modifying the topography to generate platforms at different heights, by doing so creating a garden.

Access to the plot is through a pathway that starts on the highest side of the plot the reasoning for this is to generates a walkway through which the set of volumes of this house can be seen, by observing it from different points of view; one can experience everything from the general to the detail of this house.

Here one starts to see an overview of the house. Once past the Palm Grove, we find a white blind wall, which houses the light glass staircase, which leads to the running black pond, and thus reaches the volume of the main access to the House.

The horizontal volume of the first floor made of white limestone, with a smooth black base of slate that reaches the ground floor. A third volume gives rise to the porch, this is the connection between the house and the outdoor swimming pool.

The magnificent views that the plot provides can be seen from the interior of the House, so that from all angles you can enjoy the picture perfect landscapes.

The house is designed with linear distribution, leaving all the rooms facing towards the garden.
